Not really easy to shore fish Silver lake. It is doable for bass and perch.
I would suggest going to Stump Lake. Its just off the 7.
There is a dock at the public launch and lots of greenies hide in the weeds and lilies to the right of the dock.

A different kind of fishing - Report
Hola! Back from a week in Cayo Coco! +40 daily, minimal rain and endless beach with gin clear water.... I'll start off by saying that fishing was a DUD! We went out one day on a small catamaran and landed 3 barracuda. No pics as our camera's would have been wrecked as it was windy and wet and no pla...

Re: Double checking
Just want to be sure I have read the Ontario Fishing Regulations correctly -- I will be fishing in Clear, Opinicon, Newboro, Indian, Upper Rideau lakes from May 19-24. According to the 2016 Fishing Regulations, it is "one line per angler." That also includes trolling in any of those lakes...

Re: Anyone had dealings with this guy??
1) I am sincerely very sorry to hear folks were taken for a ride. 2) Caveat Emptor. Unless I personally know the guy running a business out of his garage I avoid at all costs....generally because they do not have the ability, tools or back-up to guarantee their work. I'd report the guy to the police...

Re: Need advice
I've got pack rods that come in a nice tube by I believe Fenwick. They come with different sections so you can have either a medium or medium heavy action. Both spinning and casting available. Both freshwater though. You would get a whackload of change from $500.00 even if you bought both. Decent q...

Anyone been to Memories Cayo Coco?
How do you pack your rods and tackle RJ? Do you fly Sunwing etc? Is there a luggage charge and if so how much?
Thanks!

I was fishing Poole one day and a Ottawa Police Constable stopped to talk to me...thought I was nuts until I caught a trout in front of him. Saw him two weeks later in plain clothes there wi...

Destroy the walleye population!
Hopefully get my 2 year old out to introduce her to a Barbie rod.
Explore the waters around our hunt camp ( we plan to use it more this year as a cottage).
