Still iced up at the river into Battersea Bay. I'd make a bet on or about the beginning of the week we can put a boat in at the Battersea boat launch. Some have been saying April 15th is likely. I'll ask around and see if anyone has put a boat in at the narrows. Swing by the Holiday Manor and say &q...

The camera i have is a 5 yr. old 3 mega pixel centrios. The water here on the St. Lawrence is gin clear thanks to the zebra mussels. It was 8' deep in that particular spot. You can clearly see to depths of 30+ feet, which makes for some great sight fishing! Thanks, I was thinking it was an underwat...

I hear they have hired trappers and are recommending that everyone secure their garbage. Either build enclosures for the garbage or ensure tight lids.

Tough thing, important animals in the ecosystem, but also damaging to lifestyles.

I think it tells us that we have a healthy biosphere in the area, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/af/Canis_latrans.jpg/200px-Canis_latrans.jpg From wikipedia: Coyotes are versatile carnivores with a 90% mammalian diet, depending on the season. Wow deep snow. They say 37 cm at the airport, but with blowing snow and drifts - the neighbours snowblower has a scoop that is 35 and the snow was a lot deeper then his scoop.

Broke th driveway shoveling into a couple of shifts. Digging out from this one is taking awhile.

I use the Minn Kota as well. I really like the foot controls that you can get with it and the precision that I can work the speed.

We have a lot of tricky spots around the edges of our lake and I can get right in where I want to go.

Another vote for fixing it.

If I through out every prop that had hit a rock on Loughborough Lake, I'd have kept a landfill in business.

They can be fixed up and perform very well, especially for an older motor that is still performing.
