Suggested Pike Lure through the Ice
Hey Guys Was out last Saturday on the Ottawa and we got into some really nice pike action. Caught them on suspended large dead (kinda rotting) shiners(7") and an a couple of different jigging lures. We kept a couple for the table and when cleaning them found both pike were full of sunfish (3 in...

Good Morning Gents.
I understand that the Bays are pretty safe right now. Does anyone know how the ice conditions are out in the main river? I was hoping to go out on the main river off the beach facing Quebec.

Depending on lure size, I like to switch hooks to salt-water hooks before the first use. Marvelous for Muskie and Pike lures.....last forever.

Muskie outing Friday.......and the bearings on my baitcasting reel are shot!!!!!! Any suggestions as to where I can just pick up the bearings? I can replace them myself!

a beaver and a seagull
A beaver got tangled in my line and was brought top shore on the Madawaska just below the dam in Stewartville and I had a seagull grab my floating rapala in a small lake Huntsville. Got it too the boat...that was a bad idea........but it flew away....kinda pee pee off.....
