Regarding water levels, I have lived along the river for over 45 years, I remember as a young lad walking the beach looking for oysters 100' in front of our old cottage on Petrie. Our canoes can accomodate up to three persons. Unsure of the age of your daughters but you may have to do two boats or have two occupants do half the trip and the two others bring the boat back. Certainly Petrie can provide a very nice excursion with lots of wildlife to see

A credit card is required for motor boat rentals, not for canoes or kayaks.

We are slowly getting ready for boat rentals. Kayaks and paddle boats are now available to be rented. They include PFDs for the rented period, safety kit, paddles etc... We simply need a piece of ID. We will soon take out our motor boats. These include 14' and 16' boats with 9.9HP and 20-25HP motors...

Not good. Don't know if Carillon is open but hopefully come mid May the levels will have come up a bit...or we get some rain...
