I know of 3 legends that have had cracked hulls due to bad design. That's enough for me to suggest you look elsewhere. I think princecraft's are put together a bit better and that would be my choice. Sorry but I call BS on this post, especially as it relates to the all-welded hulls. I have had a 18...

They do make adapters to 3/4 pin poles

There are adapters for taper lock and 2 3/8 holes. They are sold by BPS. They convert your existing pedestals to 3/4" pin mounts. They are made for the KwikDrop system but would accept any 3/4" pin pole, including fixed mount poles or a power assist pole. Here is a link: http://www.basspro...

The ring is important ... in addition to keeping stuff out, I noticed a 3-4 mph speed difference without it. Not sure why but my boat went from a top of 35 back to a top of 40 when I put it on. I agree with the other guy, my prop came with NO instructions on how to install it or why it is necessary....

Re: Sad 5' sturgeon story

http://www.mlive.com/outdoors/index.ssf/2009/06/state_offers_1000_reward_to_la.html I'm sure no too many fisherman know that you can't keep any sturgeon from Ottawa River. There was sturgeon poster and explanation that you can't keep them at the Blair boat lunch but someone bent the post and damage...

So far everything I have heard about stainless props has been 100% consistant. Ok What about the composite props? The idea has caught my interest. Composite is getting to be on par with Aluminium as far as results. However, if you hit something with Composite, it will shatter so forget about repair...

BPS and Canada

Just so every one knows, this is an annual 3 week event at ALL bass pro shops stores throughout ALL of North America. This was not targeted at Toronto or Canada. Why would Bass Pro Shops adjust an international campaign for one show in Toronto? In case you are not aware of this, there are numerous m...

YES, I would keep it. It is, after all, just a fish; it certainly would not destroy the population of the lake. In fact, it probably would be an older fish, long past its prime spawning time.

Plus, as others have said, what a piece of history to own!!

I have done indoor and outdoor storage without issues. However, I would be careful about your selection of outdoor locations. If it is near a field, then rats, mice and other vermin can build nests and make a mess in short order. They cause all sorts of problems from stinky carcases to chewing on wi...

I have used a tube on the drop shot with some success. It certainly is something out of the ordinary.

As others have noted --- tubes are larger than finesse baits, worms and other traditional drop shot fare --- so be sure to use a wider gap hook if you plan to drop shot with a tube.

3rd Option

There is nothing inherently illegal or unsafe to run a long shaft motor on a short shaft transom; search the net and you will find this to be the case. Of course, it would cause some extra drag and you would have to be very careful in certain shallow water situations, but I know many people who do t...

Canot Grand Mere

Anyone have any information/experience with these boats?

I was looking for a lightweight, economical, fiberglass V hull and these would seem to fit the bill perfectly.

Their website is fairly basic.
