I have no personal experience with the in-line reels. out4trout (on here) got one last year (or maybe the year before) and he says it is awesome. As for line, I use mono and FC, either/or. Yes, you will want to launch at the Perth Road bridge. Parking is at a premium on weekends and holidays so get there early. The ramp itself is at an oddball angle to the parking lot so make sure you know FIRST where you want your boat trailer to go!!! It can be very busy with multiple boats wanting ...

I suggest you drive up to Owen Sound, not that far really, and drop in at Watson's Tackle House. Drew can probably suggest some alternatives for you. It has to be said that the main fishing in that neck of the woods is for trout and salmon, and July from shore is not generally productive. Good luck!...
