Great looking fish there Justin. I was hoping you/anybody could lend a few tips on fishing with jigs like you are using. I have a few but never really used them until last week. I was in a friendly tournament and I read a few posts before where people were using the jigs with trailer in the same spo...

Eye's, Bass and Pike?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any info here is appreciated. Feel free to answer for all species or just one. I'm heading up north for a small tourney (Parry Sound area) and I will be targeting eye's, pike and both small and largemouth bass. My quest...

I don't want to take over the topic here Ben I just have a similar question (if not the same question you are asking) that hopefully could be also answered. My question is what lbs test should I use for chucking spoons for salmon off the piers. Had 5 on last night and 2 stripped me. 1 Broke the line...

Salmon Fishing
I have a question about how to properly fish on the bottom with roe . I would assume have a slip sinker with a lead to a floating roe bag but I'm not sure how far off bottom I should keep the bag? If anybody could give me some advice or tips on how to do this properly it would be great. Also, when s...

Fishing the U.S. tribs
Just wondering if many people here get their U.S. license and fish the tribs for steel and browns? If I can convince a friend to get one this year we will be heading out there for sure. Wondering if anyone here wouldn't mind a couple people tagging along just to learn some of the areas. I would driv...

Reel Repair
Anybody know of any good reel repair guys around the Hamilton area? I have lost one screw on my reel and possibly another part. I checked out reel schematics.com but I'm not sure if I'm missing another part or not. The picture doesn't really show the piece that well.
Thanks is advance.

Winch Clip
Does anybody know how to fix a winch clip. Mine actually broke a week ago and i'm not sure what to do. Are there bascially just 2 bolts that are connected from the other side of the boat or is it more complicated? The top part is still in the boat but the bottom part is ripped right out. Has anyone ...

thanks for the info. Not sure where to get these Trojan batteries and their cost but I will look into it. Right now all that I need is a battery to start the main motor. I have one battery for the trolling motor and other stuff. I have another that is shot but is still good for running the small thi...

I need a new starting battery for my boat. Optima has both a marine starting battery and a deep cycle/starting dual purpose battery. My question is, why would I go with the starter batter over the dual purpose battery? Will the dual purpose battery not last as long as just the starter batter? If any...
