Is Brass Point the bridge @ Burnt Hills Rd? If its not, I will check my trak map at home tonight and try and find it. I appreciate the estimate on time from your location. If so then its only like a total of 30-40 mins for me. I too only run a 14 with 25hp. But I'm ussually not alone so I don't see ...

Re: cranberry/whitefish

<snip> The water should drop as the locks open, but hopefully, not as much as it didn last year. Starrman Agreed. Enough to navigate saftly is all I ask. By the way, how did your crappie fishing go? Caught a few 12 inchers, overall not all that well. Did manage a good pile of perch and some HUGE bl...

Water Caution - Whitefish/Cranberry

Guys, just a word of warning. Was out this weekend for some panfish on Cranberry and Whitefish. The water is very HIGH, higher than anyone I talked to has seen in a least 5 years. Lots of markers for logs and stones are underwater only to be seen to late. Even large areas of cover and some islands a...

Well, Went to Haskin's Point Marinia in Seeley's Bay. Not a bad store, he opened May 1st. No minnows till next weeks pike opener, but got some good conversation to ride out the rain and some good sized worms. Minnow's will be in at Haskin's next weekend for the pike opener. Stoped at the place in Se...

Wow, thanks guys. I will look into the Mark's Place.

I'm not 100% sure the Seeley's Bay bait shop (beside the launch) is open this time of year. Its handy so thats where I go in the summer.

Google Maping the path through Battersea now.

Any Updates?

Going to be in the area from Whitefish down to Dog on Victoria Day weekend. Target will be Pike for sure!!!!

Just want to hit some locations that I can fish and not be distrubing the largemouth spawning.

Also, is the Seeley's Bay launch at D6 or B7 on this map?

I know the 16' feeling will come. Problem is I don't have the budget to allow me to get a 16' as must as I would like one.

Based on prices I'm seeing 14' is about all I can invest right now.

Thanks for the opinions guys.
