In one word ... No!
The outboard is water cooled and the weed eater is air cooled. The internal temperature of the motor is different so the outboard might not completely burn off the weed eater oil : this will cause carbon deposit. In the words of the late Steve Irwin "Danger! Danger!" As carbon depo...

You might go for an minn kota endura 30. It a 30 lbs trust transom mount and avail at CNDTire for about 150$-170$. Cheap and reliable TM. I used it on a narrow 14' alum boat at it was OK except when there was strong winds. One more thing: don't buy their Nautilus battery they don't hold charge very ...

Bass and pike Hey... A few more things to consider. The titanium wire as been known to break in the R-bend. Personnally I used titanium and it happened. I would not use them in a tournament situation because it's rarely the dinks that break your spinnerbait... One more thing abo...

Tell us more about this spinnerbait. What are the options and what fish are you gonna use it for. Here a few things to consider: 1 once spinnerbaits are not as common as 3/8 or 1/2 oz. One little precision here I'm mainly a largemouth bass fishermen. For bottom feeders like catfish and carp Atractant might be more effective than for a bass. So they are equiped with barbs and have a much more developped sense of smell than sight feeders. Catfish will eat dead meat/fishes and live m...

I do agreed with BBR that when there is a cold front and/or tough bite smell/scent seems to help. Kevin VanDam in one of his books tell basically that's when the scent is an added bonus (he use real craw). That's pretty much his only mention of attractant which he specify for this kind of condition ...

From what I read across the internet  and from various books and my environmental background I came to those conclusions: 1-Because of the state of water (liquid state vs gaz in the air we breath) the dispertion of the scent molecules is not the same. The molecule in water dont travel as fast...
