Re: question...motor stalling out
Can anyone help? I was out on the lake today and my motor kept stalling out. About two minutes down the lake it was almost like I was out of gas (kind of reving up and down) and then finally it quit. Tried to start it again but as soon as I put it in forward it would quit again. Also I had trouble ...

Re: question about mixed gas
With the price of gas now I would like to use the almost full 5 gallon tank left over from last November. However I am worried about water in the gas. Is it safe to put methyl hydrate in the mixed gas of a 2 stroke engine. Throw it in your car if your concerned... it will smoke some but it wont hur...

Weights
Just a natural extension to this conversation... without adding a new topic... does anyone have a solution... home made or bought... expensive or cheap... to adding weight to the lines?
Was looking at buying the Church's clip on kit... but hard to find and I think pricey...
What do you guys think?

Oil
Dropped into the dealer on the way home. He said it was probably condensation given the small amount of water concerned and the fact that the boat had not been anywhere near water since the new oil went in. I guess this is one we will have to check on after future winters. Another reason I guess wh...

On removing the drain plug I too noticed what looked like water come out before the oil. The rest of the oil was clean as ex...

:? Jimmy I'm confused now. What did you do to winterize your engine. I have mercury outboard certification na d am a bit bewildered by your explanation. Did you drain the oil and not replenish it? I have read and reread your post. I am trying to figure out how the oil you used for fogging could get...
