Congrads FH and Mick (correction) on the second place finish. The day was cool and windy. Perfect for fishing (what day isn't). My fishing partner and I manager to bring in only 2 Pike @ 4.80 lbs. We couldn't track down any Walleye all day. Still had a blast with all the Pike we caught. Also pull in...

From the web site : 3. With Bearing Buddy® installed, how often do I need to repack my bearings? We don't recommend inspecting your bearings more frequently than once every 5 years, provided you properly maintain the grease level in the hubs, and your bearings and seals are in new condition when yo...

The bearing buddies have been in service ever since I had the boat (1999). The boat/trailer package is from 1991. Basically, I regularly add grease to the bearing buddy and have never re-pack them since I owned the boat. I am just thnking I should completely clean out the old grease and re-pack them...

Bearing Buddies
Hi All, At some point this season I need to re-pack my bearings but I have bearing buddies installed. Never done this before but I want to give it a try. Is there a trick to getting the bearing buddies off? I assume they just screw off but how do you get a hold of them with any leverage. They left h...

Got this from a web site Amp Hours The Amp Hour rating tells you how much amperage is available when discharged evenly over a 20 hour period. The amp hour rating is cumulative, so in order to know how many constant amps the battery will output for 20 hours, you have to divide the amp hour rating by ...

Please keep in mind that this is a tournament and generally the rules state no electronic communication devices are allowed . Maybe someone from Baitcasters can pop a quick note stating if this is true or not for this tournament. Looks like there will be lots of hawk-talkers there for sure...great n...

Mississippi Lake Walleye Minimum Lenght
Hi All, Just check the regulations and just found out that Mississippi Lake (Divison 10) has a minimum length for Walleye. Walleye must be 35 cm (13.8 inches) or bigger (page 28) . So for those in the Baitcasters tourney please be aware of this. Hopefully everyone will be catching bigger Walleye tha...

Seaweed, Here are a couple of quick tips: Spinnerbaits catch pike. Cast them pretty anywhere in this lake. Walleye can be caught trolling or jigging. I myself will be jigging. Don't be surprized on how shallow these Walleye can be. Last year I was pulling them out anywhere for 4 ft to 12 feet. I don...

FYI, The Bay of Quinte is down the Napanee river. The Napanee river is slow to navigate so it will take you sometime to get to the bay. If you have a choice I would try some where directly on the bay like Deseronto or something. Here are some motels: Twin Peaks Motel - 353 Dundas Street West, 613-35...
