Congrats on the baby. To answer your question when is too early to start fishing... pretty much as soon as moms mucus plug drops the babys ready for a fishing pole. Although my wife was for some reason upset at this idea but not sure why.
(sorry its Friday and Ive had a couple)

First off, please dont buy a crestfire (just my opinion). Secondly, if you plan on fishing it with braid, dont start with braid. Make all your mistakes on mono and then switch over to braid once you have stopped having to cut the birdsnests out. My buddy started with braid and told him hed be sorry....

I know, I know. Dry Graphite spray. (you can get it at auto parts stores, but not sure about Crappy Tire) Its lasts a long time, it dries quickly so nothing will stick to it. Might be worth a try. I use it on my truck window that seems to come up very slowly and works great for about a couple of mon...

Fished Long Point Bay yesterday throwing a senko with my new 14lb fireline. Loved it! Way better than my old Stealth and Power Pro without a doubt. One wind knot in 3 hours.

Last year I was told Fins was awesome and ended up getting 4 spools of it put on. Had a couple of qestionable breakoffs but wasnt ready to blame the line. In a tourney I lost a big bass and had the line break very easily when snagged on bottom. I came home and threw all of it out. Im sure glad we ha...

On my spinning reels I have problems when Im throwing lighter baits such as senkos or floating worms. With Power pro Im getting a ton of wind knots and with Spiderwire stealth I am still having too many knots. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions about Fireline on their spinning gear? Thanks...

nothing says quality like a crestfire :D I wonder if the comparison is like going from a Hyundai Pony to a Minivan, hell of a jump in quality and performance and well worth the extra money. No doubt that the reel is probably great and I think Ill run out and buy a couple based on your unbiased info....

Ok, heres another Senko question. Do you guys use baitcasting gear or spinning?. I use spinning for the fact that I can skip a senko under places. However I am not impressed with the wind knots that I get from throwing this type of bait so I am considering switching to a baitcast rig. Any thoughts? ...

Sorry if I get a litle off topic but I have a question about my topwater frog. I have a manns frog that has a hollow body and a 3 hook treble hook at the back that stays tight to the frogs body. Last weekend I threw it and had 2 big largies hit it but both got off. I waited for 2 seconds on the firs...

I was talked into buying a pair of yellow lens Blue Waters. At first I wasnt sure if I liked them or not as everything seemed so bright. Im the kind of guy that wears sunglasses on the darkest of days as I get migraines from the sunlight. After a week or so I absolutely love them. It is definetely b...
