I heard it depends on a few different things. One being the cleanlyness of the waters and 2 being the healthyness(??) of there food. I know a spot were I catch both large and smallmouths with the whitest belly I have ever seen on a Bass. Makes sence no?

Ifish there quit frequntly! the largest I have pulled out there was 5 pounder. It is a great place to grab some eyes on topwater too! may see you there!

Hey guys, I guess I'm going to have to try them lakes and avoid the streams untill they start running down stream a bit. And Cyress I knew where you were in that stream. Be carefull, there are some gun toten cowboys there and like to shot alot. I 'm going to venture out to one of the Lakes up there ...

YA I am usualy out in the mid afternoon and nothing. I guess my next outing will have to be at one of the lakes because the streams aint producing yet! What are you using for bait? I'm using worms.

I love poppers. You need to know how to make them splash and how to make the sound real deep. I use them once it's dark and pop slow and loud. works for me, although nothing beats a super spook!

SAT was our third outting. The streams were still high and the surrounding land was wet, soggy and made it difficult to access the streams. How is the fishing on the lakes right now? Are you fishing from shore or what? Let me know!

Well We got skunked on Sat. Did'nt fish any lakes. we tried the streams and not a bite. Will try next weekend.

It really is all about the pressure of the water. The closer the moon the higher pressure, the higher pressure the more active the bait fish and vise versa. Mind you the extra light on the water really helps!
