Those look great, especially the red and white one. I don't take temperature readings, but there is a certain time every spring when I catch crappies and the bluegills are not yet biting. Fran Betters definitely had a big influence on the sport. I first heard about him in a fly tyer article many years ago. When I learned the Ausable was only 3 hours away I wanted to go there to meet him and to check out what sounded like a "world class trout stream." I bought his big red bo...

Congrats Mr. Thom, that is an amazing accomplishment. I've had the pleasure of meeting Donald several times and he is a very nice guy and one of the best anglers I've ever seen, if not the best.

Another reason why theer has been such a decline in fish populations in Dows Lake could also be from the 'new' canadians who fish and don't/won't understand our laws of conservation....as well as; 'Limit your catch, not catch your limit' just my 2 cents.... Amen to that, and since they cannot enfor...

Great catch Olivier, you know your stuff and how to treat the fish when you catch them. I can't wait to take you for some trout now that I can legally drive. Congrats and I hope there's more pigs like that to come this season :D
