I switched to colour this year and love it so far. I find theres quicker recognitiong for me when I quickly glance at the screen cause the colours stand out so much better.

Blaker is right with the times he suggested. All those fish have different opening times for the year and have their best bites close to those date. So if your looking at a chance to catch them all then his time suggestions will do. The walleye bite will be tougher anytime after opening though. Good...

I've always had my best luck on a Johnson's Silver Minnow. Sometime tipped with a berkley Power bait for the extra bit.

I got a great deal on 2 cannon uni-trolls with everything I need included which helped me make my decision. I think for what i'm doing they'll suit me fine. So...

Thanks for the input guys. Being new to this is it normal to raise both riggers if you connect with a fish or do you only bring the one up you hooked up from? I imagine it could get quite busy trying to get them both up and handle a fish.
