Unfortunately I didn't get to see the picture but congratualtions to your brother for catching a trophy 8) Don't let the negativity of some on the site get to you. It was a fairly caught fish and any decisions about how the fish was handled are governed by laws established by fish biologists respons...

Mike, do you not find the flotation suit awful warm this time of year? I keep thinking I should have mine on but it can get awful hot with it on. I wear a good quality full size life jacket though!

Wish I could take you up on it but I have a group coming to my house tomorrow for a day of musky fishing on the Rideau. You are right about the warm clothes and rain suits though, it looks like a miserable day but maybe that will help the musky bite :)

Good luck tomorrow :!:

Thanks to everyone for the responses about the map, the water hazards and the offer of lending me a map. It is all really appreciated. 8) I went out yesterday and fished until dark without any luck but had a great day just the same. In addition to the water hazards, one of the problems I find in fis...

I am going to fish the headpond this week and wondered if there are any maps available that show the depths. :?: I did get the prime fishing locations map from the map project and it is very helpful but never having fished the headpond before I would like to have a map of the water depths as well. :...

CENTENNIAL LAKE WALLEYE

I am heading back to Centennial Lake tomorrom morning for some walleye fishing and wondered if anyone has any input from recent fishing there on how they are hitting or what they are hitting on.

Nice fish for only an hour of fishing 8) but OUCH :!: that hook through the thumb adventure is not a fun experience. :( I always have a pair of side cutters handy for just such occassions. They are good for cutting off a treble that is well imbedded in the fish so you don't have to overly stress or ...
