But so many things contain trace radiation.....such as some household appliances. .... bananas, table salt, television screens, your basement, granite countertops, natural and propane gas, tap water, potatoes and on and on and on for ever. In fact, people themselves contain and emit ionizing radiat...

Couple questions for you, because I was skunked last night... Im a little further up the Ottawa, so a different structure but did you find them: -Same depth / spots as summer or earlier fall? - Are you jigging or trolling? -Bottom or suspended? Any tips would be very much appreciated. The freezer is...

OK - so what and how do you actually use it?

Ive got one in my tackle box, but damned if i know how to fish it?

- chuck it into slop and twitch it?
- swim it?
- heavy cover or deep edges?

Some tips from the experts on how to use them would be very much appreciated!

Any more details on Muskrat

I'd like to fish it sometime, but wouldnt know where to start. If you dont want to share, PM me if you're willing to help out.

I see shacks in at the end of the lake near town. Is that the "panfish" area you're talking about?

How are you fishing those jigs?

Im usually a texas-rig faithful, and have never tossed something like what you use. Just chuck it out into holes and leave it be?

Specks

Im living in Pembroke (after moving up from Deschenes/Aylmer).
I'd be keen on going for speckles some time. Never caught a trout before but would love to find some in the area.

I can pick up a QC licence as I'm still officially a QC resident.

Lemme know if your keen.

Cheers,
Philip

I think it is what's called a black rat snake. Not dangerous but definetly scary looking. They get bigger as well.

Do any of you use braids on spinning set-ups or just on baitcasters?

I have a medium weight spinning setup that i use for most everything, and Im wondering if I could put on a braid to hekp pull my jigs up when the yineveitably get stuck in some sunken tree.

Thx.

It is fairly common, as one poster said, on the west coast, particualrily among those who work in cedar alot (oily, wet wood).

Gloves and respirators are common place on the job site, especially among those who have been in the work long enough to know better.
