it's guys ( yes you can insert guides here as I know of 2 that do that ) pounding the same spots day in and day out that destroy a fishery. As well as pounding the fish just off the spawn. Richard, if you want the respect that you so obviously crave, a good start would be to stop disrespecting thos...

Best way to get them porcupine needles out is to snip the ends off with a pair of scissors first then pull the remaining needle out. They are a nightmare to remove when left whole and the dog will not like it.

Hehe, a lengthy rant deserves a lengthy reply! I think you should just get used to the fact that everyone has different likes and/or dislikes. You dislike tournaments, others like tournaments. Do you really want everyone to be just like you and think just like you? (Starting to sound like a ...

I don't know of any Canadians or anyone in the area that is a regular muskie fisherman using suckers. I promise you that you don't know everyone who fishes muskies on a regular basis. Of the thousands of muskies that have come aboard my boats..... That could only come from you Richard hehe....

Richard, first you start out by saying there are always guys using live suckers then you say nobody uses live suckers. Which is it? You just can't change your mind every time you want to make a point. And Chris come on you don't need a degree in fisheries to know that suckers kill more fish then lur...

I do not fish with or support sucker rigs used as an acceptable angling method. They kill fish...period. Then maybe YOU are the one who needs a little educating. Making a blanket statement about live bait does no good for anyone. Yes there are certain rigs that can have high mortality rates, but to...

Hey Nips, I had a muskie following a figure 8 for several minutes on Stocco Lake a few years back. I couldn't believe it. Reminded me of a cat following a toy on a piece of string. He'd disappear....I'd keep at it.....he would reappear, this went on and on. Finally after not seeing him for a few sec...

Also, right in the village of Chesterville, people walleye fish right below the dam. Hi, pretty sure that it's a sanctuary below the dam in Chesterville.....at least for part of the open season in the spring. There are other sanctuaries along the South Nation River as well. You can find out where i...
