Backroad Mapbooks - Eastern Ontario Fishing Mapbook
Would anyone know of West End gas stations or other locations that carry this book? Most of the big stores are out of stock or have a hefty cost to ship or their pickup ours don't work for me. Even better if someone had a copy that they wanted to part with. Reviews or thoughts would also be apprecia...

Fixing a hole in a boat
Without going into a long story my aluminum boat now has a small punched hole about the diameter of a pencil.
Is there any easy do-it-yourself fix that would work or should I take it to a professional and have it welded?

Re: Fish Finders
I settled on a gently used humminbird piranhamax di. Seems a solid unit to start off with and was quite affordable.

Fish Finders
I'm looking into getting a fish finder for the boat in the spring but I don't know much about them, I'm hoping that you folks can provide a rough overview of what to look for in a unit that will help me get my research started. What would be the best affordable (cheaper end) fish finder? What are th...

Re: Which Boat to Buy?
Saw the boat this weekend, boat looks great for what it is, motor looks brand new (1990 I believe) but the trailer is super rough. I'm going to do some work on it and see if I can get it rolling. I'm thinking that as long as the axle isn't completely seized it should be salvageable. Thank you everyo...

Thanks for the input everyone! I'll be seeing them this weekend, so after 5 years or so I might finally be getting my boat!
Now any hints and tips on operating one?

Which Boat to Buy?
I've found a great deal on two possible aluminum boats... And I don't know which one I should get. (note: haven't seen them in person yet) The first one is a 14 foot aluminum boat with a trailer and 8 horse Mariner outboard motor. The second is a 16 foot Springbok with split seat, with a 15 Yamaha, ...

Looking to Shorefish near Ottawa
Would anyone know any spots that aren't still completely flooded? I checked Britannia Beach last weekend and would have needed hip-waders to get to the end of the pier.
Hoping for friendly suggestions.
