MS Bassin Charity Tournament - August 4, 2012

Over the years Fish-Hawk has participated in a number of tournaments & derbies in order to raise funds and awareness for great charities. Some of these included the BAOO Charity Tournament for Kids, Ice Fishing for Hopewell, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Christie Lake Kids where last year Fish-Hawk donated $300 to ensure the children had balls and other recreational items to play with, as well as one of the first Ice Derbies we did for "Fish for a Cure" in support of the MS Society.
As many of you are aware, I was diagnosed in November 2011 with Multiple Sclerosis myself. While my prognosis looks very good for the future....many people have not been as fortunate as I, and need further support in order to carry on the search for a cure.
In 2012, I will be fully supporting an initiative being hosted by a fellow Fish-Hawker, (msbassin), who was also diagnosed last year with MS. On August 4th, 2012, Matt will host the 2nd Annual MS Bassin Charity Tournament to help raise funds for the MS Society of Canada.
I fully encourge all Fish-Hawk members who love to fish for bass, and even those who just love to fish, to sign up and participate in this great event. Not only will I be a participating member, Fish-Hawk will also be donating a percentage of all 2012 Regular Advertising Renewals, and 100% of any "over the top" donations from our supporting retailers should they wish to give a little more to the cause.
